DIRECTIONS TO THE BETHESDA THEATRE
Metro:
Take the Red Line to the Bethesda station. Exit station and head north on Wisconsin Avenue for a block and a half (follow the lightpost banners). The theatre is on the east (right) side of the street at 7719 Wisconsin Avenue. Look for the big Bethesda Theatre marquee.
From DC:
Proceed north on Wisconsin Avenue to Bethesda. Once past the intersection of East-West Highway (look for the Hyatt Hotel on the left), the theatre is a block and a half farther north on the right side. Proceed past the theatre to the traffic light at Cheltenham Drive and take a right. The Cheltenham Garage, a public garage, is half a block down on the right side. The elevator inside the lot takes you up to the walkway leading to the box office.
From MD or VA:
Take the Capital Beltway (I-495) to Rt. 355/Wisconsin Avenue (Exit 34). Proceed south on Rt. 355/Wisconsin Avenue approximately a mile and a half to the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Cheltenham Drive (look for the Chevy Chase Chevrolet dealer on the left). Take a left onto Cheltenham Drive. The Cheltenham Garage, a public garage, is half a block down on the right side. The elevator inside the lot takes you up to the walkway leading to the box office.
PARKING
The nearest parking garage is located around the corner from the theatre at 4720 Cheltenham Drive. The garage is metered from 7am - 10pm Monday-Friday. Patrons should park in the long-term section, located below the first level. Remember to bring change; the rates are $0.75/hour in short-term parking and $0.50/hour in long-term parking. Elevators inside the garage take you to the walkway leading to the box office and front entrance to the theatre.
ACCESSABILITY
The Bethesda Theatre is committed to providing an enjoyable theatre-going experience for all patrons. The theatre is fully accessable to patrons with physical disabilities. Assistive listening devices are available to patrons who are hard of hearing. In addition, there will be a sign-interpreted and audio described performance of each production.
